We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. It was very different being away from our family and friends for Christmas this year, however we made it special in our own way. We enjoyed our first Christmas here very much.
Our Spanish school has been closed for two weeks to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. We welcomed this break for a few reasons. While things have been going very well it is very expensive. We are currently paying $200.00 a week for both Jessica and I to attend. It has been worth it so far and we are learning a lot but the expense has been great. We know the Lord will continue to meet this need.
The break has been nice for another reason. Jessica’s doctor believes the baby will be coming early! Some time this month in fact. So the rest has been

good for her. She has instructions to take it easy and to not do much. Everything is still looking good but please continue to pray for Jessica and the baby that everything goes well and that there are no complications.
I have had the opportunity to preach quite a bit lately and even preached my first message in Spanish without an interpreter the Sunday before Christmas. I have also preached twice since then in Spanish with no interpreter and even had the glorious privilege of seeing a precious Ayamara woman accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior!
We had the opportunity to help with some feeding programs for Christmas in the village of Chiraque and the city of El Alto. The Lord blessed and we had many come to eat and hear the gospel preached. This was probably the only Christmas these people were able to have.

The Lord has blessed the ministry here in Bolivia with its very first Bible printing equipment! At the first of December Brother Brian Coats came to deliver Christmas presents, supplies and things for the baby that was sent by our family. While he was here he also over saw the purchase of a printer and all the equipment needed to begin printing Bibles here in Bolivia! We are so excited about the doors this opens to spread the gospel and get copies of God’s word into the hands of the people here.
In our last letter we mentioned some problems we were having with our paper work. It is looking like that will be straightened out, however we are still waiting on some things to be worked out. So please continue to pray that everything will be accepted and we can move forward with our residency visas.
We pray the Lord will continue to be with you in this coming year. May God bless you all!
