The Lord continues to move greatly and there have been several opportunities to preach and teach Sunday school. I just finished preaching a missions conference for a local pastor here and Praise the Lord their missions giving increased 30%! This is amazing for the Bolivian people who generally don’t have much of a concept of the world outside of their own country. But the Lord is planting in their hearts a desire to spread the gospel!
The printing ministry continues to be busy. We have printed almost
30,000 pages just since the beginning of August! This week I had about 10 pastors from around South America speak to me about helping them print material for their churches. The biggest request seems to be hymnals but they also include SS material, invitations, scripture portions and more.
I am also excited to announce that I have finished my Spanish classes! I still have a lot to learn but that will come with experience. To get this experience, the Lord has allowed me to begin leading a Bible study every Tuesday night and teach Sunday School. It has been a blessing and allowed me to practice the things I have learned. We are excited for the opportunity to teach and see more people become excited about learning about God. Our little class has been growing and it seems every week there is someone new. Jessica is still attending classes due to missing so much after having the baby but Lord willing she will be finished before Christmas.
Ellie continues to grow and do well however, the doctor has discovered that the soft spot on her head is closing too quickly. She needs a CT scan and an x-ray but we’re praying they will show that everything is ok and her head will continue to grow normally. We don’t know how much these tests will cost yet; however, we know the Lord will provide.
Pray for us as we are preparing to plan and look into an area where the Lord may have us start a church. Currently, we are specifically praying about a piano. Jessica has been working to learn how to play for the church but we had to give back the one we had borrowed. The cost for one here is $1800 but again, we know God can!
Also help us pray that the Lord will continue to show us His will about a location and building to begin a church. There is much to prepare and pray about and we are starting to research more thoroughly about a church building as we plan to start next year. Please help us pray in advance the Lord will provide where and when He chooses.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Your prayers really do make a difference! We feel them everyday.
