It is getting colder here in La Paz as the winter months are setting in. However we are still busy in the ministry. We recently had 5000 church invitations printed and have started Tuesday evening visitation before time for Bible College. In the last few weeks, we have been able to visit several hundred homes.
We are also preparing for the upcoming youth camp that will take place down in the jungle. It is a week long camp for young people that will include preaching services and games. We are praying that the Lord will do great things among the youth here in Bolivia during this time. We are also expecting
to have some groups from the States coming for the camp as well.
Jessica has begun learning and playing the piano in church and continues to hold monthly ladies meetings. She also has a bible study every Monday in our home with a Bolivian friend. This has been a great time for her to study, not only God’s word, but Spanish as well.
We finally were able to complete the next step of our paper work process! Hopefully we will not have to return to Santa Cruz for paper work for another two years. We are praising the Lord for this! He has provided for us and continued to bless us as we work toward completing this process. Help us continue to pray that doors will stay open and the process to receive our residency will be completed.
Ellie is doing great and is starting to make friends at church. It is such a blessing to watch her playing with the other children. She is still, and always will be our little miracle. The people here love her and always introduce her as "a Bolivian". I believe they love her almost as much as we do.
We got the truck fixed and didn’t have to order the extra parts for it. Praise the Lord for this! This saved us a $500 part and then having it shipped here which would have probably cost about the same. So far, it seems to be working just fine with the adjustments they made.
Thank you for praying for us and for all your encouragement. Your prayers really do make a difference and so do your messages and phone calls. We pray for you also and hope you are having a wonderful spring time.
God bless you all!
