Hello! We hope you are all enjoying your summer there! It still seems to get colder here in La Paz. It even snowed on the Fourth of July! But despite the colder temperatures everything is going well. I was told at church the other day that this is the coldest it has been in about 2 decades. But despite the cold weather, God is still at work. Three of the boys you see in the photo above professed to have accepted Christ as their Savior last month. Please pray for the one in orange shirt as he wasn't as sure about things.
The youth camp was a success! While we did not go, there were several that went from the church we are working in. There were 150 in total from Bolivia, Peru and Argentina. There were about 7 young people who got saved and many lives were touched during this week of preaching and bible study. The groups that came from the States also had a good visit and enjoyed being at camp. We're thanking the Lord they didn't have any problems with their visas and were able to come and leave with no problem. It was also very nice to have some fellowship for a few days.
We had a missions conference at the church while our guests were here. The Lord seemed to move in the meeting and we were able to renew the faith promise commitments. I don't know what last years promise was because I was not here but this year the church promised about 500Bs more per month than what was being given. It’s a blessing see the people here on the mission field get excited about world missions.
Everything is still going well at the church. We've been looking for a new church building because the one we are in is just too small. Please help us pray that the Lord will provide the right place for a fair price. where the church is at a small lot will cost about $200,000-300,000 easily. That is something this church just can not pay.
Again, we thank you for all you have made possible here in Bolivia through your prayers and gifts.
