Once again, it is time to write and let you know what God has done and is allowing us to do here in Bolivia. It is hard to believe that we have been doing this for three years now! It was three years ago at the end of August that we made our move here to Bolivia. It is interesting think back to our plans and thoughts when we first arrived and compare them to now. Then, our desire was to spend the first year in language school and then move to Oruro to start a church. Now, we look back and while things have not gone our way, we believe God has been please. A lot has been accomplished during these years.

Where has time gone? It seems like just yesterday that I sat down to write our last prayer letter. However, it has already been 2 months and is time for a new letter.
At the end of June, we said our goodbyes to the people of the Iglesia Bautista de Cota Cota. When we went to the church 6 months ago, they were in a mess but thankfully we have been able to get them mostly straightened out. We didn't want to leave those people, but felt it was time to go before they became reliant on our help. We knew God wanted us elsewhere and didn't want that to happen.

The last 2 months have been fairly full. It seems that about the time I think things are going to slow down some, other things come up. We are thankful for the opportunity to continue to serve the Lord here in Bolivia.
As we mentioned in our last letter, the Fanning family has returned to Bolivia. This has allowed us to return their work to them and focus more on the other work in Cota-Cota. Cota Cota is the church that had their pastor leave and leave them in a rough situation. This work lost a lot of their members during the situation but those that remain seem very encouraged and ready to do something for the Lord. While the former pastor still has not returned the church documents or finances that he had in his possession, the remaining people have worked and saved and are almost in a position to run things on their own again. Since I entered, we have practically re-founded the church. It still has the same
