We pray this letter finds you doing well. We are doing well here. The Lord has blessed greatly in the last month and we have a lot to tell you in this prayer letter.
First off, we are excited to have another missionary family joining us here in Bolivia. The Ellzey family are good friends of ours and we are excited to have them here. We have spent a lot of time trying to help them get settled into their new home, finding items to furnish their home and trying to find a vehicle.
We also had a visit from some stateside friends, Mike and Leslie Blackburn. They came specifically to work.  They came with the objective of helping in whatever project we had going on and needed help in.  That was a special blessing with all the work to be done on our new church building.
Speaking of the new building, there is a lot to update you on there too.  In our last prayer letter, we told you about the need for some remodel work and for a security wall.  The  remodel we had a cost of $2,500 but we were still waiting on quotes for the wall. Well, some churches got a burden for our wall and before we knew it, finances started coming in for it!  The wall quote came to about $5,000 and that has been generously given!  Matter of fact, we have already even finished the masonry part of it. We are currently working on the front entrance for the gate.  To do the gate, we had to go ahead and make a drive that would support the gate so it could roll.  The cement is finished and as of this writing, the gate should be on within the next few days.
We would ask that you help us pray over the finances to finish the remodel.  Some has already started coming in for this but I don’t believe we have everything yet.  While the Blackburns were here willing to help, we went ahead and knocked out the walls on the inside.  With these walls gone, it now makes our auditorium. This was a tougher job than I expected.  The walls were made with block covered with 1 1/2 inches on concrete on each side.  It took us several days with sledge hammers to get this taken out.  We still have a little bit to do but the worst part of that is finished.  There is still a lot of work to be done and we continue in this.
The Blackburn family also helped us with folding our church invitations and some John and Romans.  We have about 5,000 invitations and in the end we will have 3,500 scripture portions as we start the church.  This will be a great start.  We have some people and some churches that have committed to help us knock doors and get things going.
The Lord has allowed us to accomplish a lot in these past months but there is still a lot to do.  We are really, just getting started on this work.  We would appreciate your prayers, not just for the finances but for the opportunity we have in the next few months.  We will be trying to reach out to people that have never heard the true gospel.  People that have heard of Christ but have never known Him.  This first impression is important and we covet your prayers.
