APRIL 2022 UPDATE

Good Day from the Murray Family,

We hope you are doing well and want to wish you a wonderful Resurrection Sunday. One of my favorite times of the year is celebrating our risen Savior.

We are happy to report that our final scripture container has finally arrived! It took a few months longer than I expected but we are glad it is finally in Bolivia. We have already started distributing the scriptures across the country. As of last month, we have officially put scripture in all 9 states of Bolivia and 5 other South American countries. What a blessing to have had a part in getting God’s word out to so many!

For those of you who read about our new Bolivian Mission project, this container’s arrival may remind you how much we need that mission property. I have scripture stored in 5 different locations, including my home, because we do not have a single adequate space to stage everything. Some churches have graciously allowed us to fill entire Sunday School classrooms with the boxes of scriptures. While we have had a lot of interest in assisting with the purchase of the mission property, we still have a very long way to go. However, we will continue to bring God’s Word here any way we can until He provides the means of expanding this part of the ministry.

In our last letter, we mentioned that we were planning for an earlier date of return to Bolivia. Lord Willing, we will be headed back on August 3rd. We are all very excited about going home. While we do enjoy being stateside visiting family and supporting churches, we miss Bolivia and want to return to our place there, where God has called us.

We are continuing to work on purchasing the property for our new church. We have had some hiccups along the way, but we are trusting in God’s timing. The first lot we tried to buy was sold before we raised the money needed. With the next property, we had an agreed price but then the owners decided they didn’t want to sell it unless we also bought the adjacent property. We would have liked to have done exactly that, but we didn’t have the money for both. So now we are looking at another lot. The price is slightly less for the same sized parcel and is in a better location than the last one. As of this writing, I am waiting for our lawyer to help finalize things for a contract to buy. Due to some issues with the paperwork, it will take a bit longer before we can start building, but hopefully all will be ready by the time our family returns to Bolivia.

Thank you for helping us be able to continue to minister in Bolivia. All that is accomplished there is to your credit and because of God’s goodness and blessings. Thank you for your continued prayers.
